Philosophy of Pancasila
Pancasila was born June 1, 1945, adopted on August 18, 1945 in conjunction with the 1945 Constitution. Pancasila speech sounds and correct based on the Instruction number 12 in 1968 is one, the supreme deity. Two, just and civilized humanity. Three, the unity of Indonesia. Four, led by the wisdom Populist policies in consultation/ representation. And fifth, social justice for all Indonesian people.
Etymologically the term "philosophy" or in English "philosophi" is derived from the Greek language "philosophia" which is commonly translated as "love of wisdom" word philosophia is rooted in the word "philos" (pilia, love) and "sophia" (wisdom ). Based on the understanding that language philosophy means love of wisdom. Words of wisdom can also means "wisdom" or the wisdom that philosophy can also mean love of wisdom. Based on the meaning of the word is then studied philosophy means a human effort to seek the wisdom of life that later can be a useful concept of life policy for human civilization. An expert called philosophers think, this word was first used by Heraclitus.
Knowledge wise to give the truth, people, who love knowledge wise, because it is looking for is oreang who loves the truth. About love of truth is a characteristic of every philosopher from the first until now. In the search for wisdom, the philosophers use the way with deep thinking (reflection). Results of philosophy (think deeply) is called philosophy, or philosophy. Philosophy as a result of deep thinking is expected to be a most unwise or at least approaching perfection.
Pancasila philosophy is the result of thinking/ thinking of the nation's deepest
Indonesia is regarded, trusted and believed as something (reality, the norms, values) the truest, fairest, wisest, best and most suitable for the Indonesian nation.
The main function of philosophy Pancasila Indonesia for the nation, namely:
a) Philosophy 0f Pancasila as the Indonesian way of life
b) Pancasila as the foundation of the Republic of Indonesia
c) the spirit and personality of Pancasila as the Indonesian nation
Philosophy of Pancasila as the basic philosophy of the Indonesian state, it can be proved by the discovery in several historical documents and in the Indonesian state legislation such as below:In the speech, Ir. Sukarno on June 1, 1945.
